The Way is a collaborative project currently in production with Group Lore. My work on this project centers on visual storytelling—developing layouts, illustrations, and design elements that build the world and tone of the narrative. The process emphasizes consistency across atmosphere, pacing, and character, blending illustration and design principles to serve the story’s emotional and visual impact. This section highlights selected works-in-progress that reflect my contribution to the evolving visual identity of The Way.
The Way
World Building
Much of my task in this project has been building a world that not only has rules and consistencies within itself as we create it, but also ties back to the first two episodes of the comic that are already available on GroupLore.com. My work has focused on worldbuilding through costume and prop design, character turnarounds, and the development of 3D environments, all working together to create a cohesive and immersive visual universe.

Comic Panels
In addition to worldbuilding, my work on The Way has included creating fully illustrated panels from storyboards. I approach each scene as an opportunity to merge my own artistic sensibilities with the established tone of the project. My goal is to keep every illustration on brand and in harmony with the existing visual style, while still bringing a sense of warmth and emotion that reflects my own approach to storytelling. I focus on clarity, expression, and flow—shaping each moment so it feels alive within the larger narrative world.

3D Modeling
I have also had the opportunity to delve into the world of digital 3D design, creating props and environments that expand the visual depth of The Way. Using SketchUp, I’ve been able to explore form, lighting, and spatial relationships in new ways, developing settings that feel tangible and lived-in. This process has deepened my understanding of how design and storytelling intersect, giving me new tools to bring the world of the project to life.
