Mosaic: Creators and Educators of RMCAD
Project Overview
Mosaic is a book project I was commissioned to design by RMCAD. The publication serves as a compilation of works created by the college’s staff and faculty, highlighting the diverse talents and perspectives within the RMCAD community. My role focused on unifying these varied contributions through thoughtful layout, typography, and visual design, creating a cohesive experience that celebrates both individuality and connection. The project reflects my interest in design as a form of storytelling, where structure and style work together to honor the creative voices within a shared space.

My Roles and Responsibilities
For Mosaic, I began by researching other collegiate and professional publications to establish a strong design foundation. My goal was to create a layout that complemented, rather than competed with, the wide range of artwork featured throughout the book. Every design decision, from color palette to typeface selection, was guided by the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design’s branding standards. I aimed to give each piece a clean and quiet space to speak for itself, allowing the diversity of styles and mediums to shine within a unified visual framework. The complete publication can be viewed below as a flipbook.
